Today’s Holiday: Toothache Day

February 9, 2016

I decided this would be the holiday I’m celebrating today because I have a slight toothache myself.

I’m sorry to say, I’m not wearing a bright red scarf around my head like in the image below, but I will be seeing an orthodontist later (the toothache is because my permanent retainer broke, so they have to fix it).

I guess that’s also how I’ll be celebrating today. It’s not the most fun way of celebrating a holiday, but it might be the best way (and what a terrible thought that is).

There are, however, other ways to celebrate today. If you’re creative and a good cook, you could bake cookies or ice cupcakes to look like teeth. You could wear a red scarf around your head to look like you have a toothache and live in the olden days.

Or you could take the easy route and just research stuff about toothaches. There are dozens of home remedies for toothaches out there that might be helpful to know, especially if you find yourself with a toothache in the future.

I myself prefer the cookies and cupcakes, but whatever floats your boat…

It honestly doesn’t matter how you celebrate the day. As long as you celebrate and have a good time, then how could anyone be upset?

Happy holidays!
